MEETINGS AND BIBLE CLASSES:
* ENGLISH BIBLE STUDY - 9:00 – 10:30 a.m., Tuesdays, led by Rev. Yi. The text is “Celebration of Discipline.

* CHOIR REHEARSAL – 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays

* SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE MEETING – 1:00 p.m. TODAY.

* CHILDREN’S SUNDAY – 2 May the children and youth and will be in charge of the worship service.

* PLATE LUNCH – Plate lunch day is 1 May. Contact Mrs. Yi if you have not received tickets. Preparation begins at 8:30 a.m. , Friday, 30 April. Manpower is needed both days.

* MOVIE NIGHT/MOTHER’S DAY WEEKEND – The men’s Group will present a movie at 6:30 p.m. ,Saturday, 8 May. Popcorn will be provided. Sunday, 9 May the Youth will serve breakfast and the Men’s Group will serve lunch. Combined worship begins at 10:00 a.m.

* MAHALO to all who are recycling cans and bottles for the youth. Please remove the tops and rinse the cans.

* THE CHURCH is continuing to request donations to the Van and Building Funds.

* A community group is collecting items for a hospital in Afghanistan. POC is Henry Lee.

* TODAY’S HOSTESSES: Hon Su Kawakami and Craig Hoshibata.
